Designed with strength and performance in mind, the Titus Quickfit TL5 dowel connector delivers reliable connections in all common wood-based materials. This includes MDF, Chipboard and solid wood, all without the need for additional wooden dowels.
Highly tolerant to misalignment
The Titus Quickfit TL5 dowel is highly tolerant to misalignment. Simply insert, without tools, into a 5mm dowel hole and the expanding sleeve will grip the material providing a reliable tight joint even with drilling inaccuracies.
Quickfit TL5 dowel connectors can also be pre-inserted in the factory to save assembly time for customers.
Expandable steel sleeve, even when reassembled
For rigid furniture construction that doesn’t loosen with age, the Quickfit TL5 uses a unique expanding sleeve to create high resistance to torsion and dowel pull-out.
Even if furniture is taken apart and reassembled, the cam will always lock in the 2 o’clock position, resulting in a smooth, firm tightening action and greater dowel pull-up.
